Sarlat
Open from 01 January to 31 December
Sarlat is the first safeguarded area in France to have been restored according to the Malraux law of 1964. Its classification as a City of Art and History confirms its high architectural quality. Sarlat is also known for having the highest density of historical and classified monuments. Its alleys of the Middle Ages and its big sunny squares, particularly animated the days of markets, offer a framework of very pleasant life.
